The installation “I’ll be back” from Yoko Ono provocatively addresses contemporary art and artists, while recalling the most important moments and people of her life with a delicate intimism.
The launch of the new editorial issue of Flaneur&Dust, DREAM - curated by Cristiano Seganfreddo and Luigi Bonotto for Fuoribiennale – represents a tribute to Yoko Ono herself, who personally selected some of the most interesting pictures from the 2009 performance installation in which she covered the walls of many Italian cities with posters and billboards. A Dream Hour with Yoko Ono is a special dinner performance by Gian Emilio Simonetti, an artist who played a central role in Fluxus. The piece is entirely inspired by Yoko Ono’s culture and art.
These are the first initiatives from the newborn Bonotto Foundation, which until now has been accurately archiving the material collected by Luigi Bonotto over the years. Their aim is to start a well-defined project involving research, education and promotion of Fluxus and the Experimental Poetry, in order to generate both dialogue and discussion with the artist and within the contemporary art world.
